Job Overview

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or other scheduling software to ensure timely delivery of construction phases.
• Prepare and review construction plans, specifications, and estimates utilizing tools such as ProCore, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and civil engineering project management software.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to align project objectives and resolve issues promptly.
• Monitor project progress through site visits and regular meetings; adjust schedules and resources as needed to address delays or unforeseen challenges.
• Manage project budgets by tracking costs using cost management software; perform Excel data analysis for accurate forecasting and reporting.
• Oversee contract administration including reviewing contracts, change orders, and ensuring compliance with legal and safety standards.
• Facilitate communication across all stakeholders to ensure clarity on project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols on-site; conduct inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of project activities, including progress reports, RFIs, submittals, and meeting minutes.

Skills

• Proficiency in construction management software such as Primavera P6, Primavera P3, HeavyBid, ProCore, Bluebeam Revu, Civil 3D, or similar tools.
• Strong knowledge of construction estimating techniques and cost management practices.
• Experience with construction scheduling software including MS Project or equivalent scheduling tools.
• Solid understanding of construction plans, specifications, contracts, and industry standards.
• Excellent project management skills with proven experience in civil engineering or heavy construction projects.

Duties
