We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support and care to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will have experience in various caregiving settings and possess the skills necessary to assist clients with daily living activities while ensuring their safety and comfort. This role is crucial in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, particularly those with special needs, such as developmental disabilities, dementia, or Alzheimer’s.
Duties
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide patient care by monitoring vital signs and observing changes in health status.
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment through regular cleaning and organization tasks.
- Administer medications as per care plans and assist with medication management.
- Support clients with mobility needs, including the use of Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
- Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to healthcare professionals.
- Uphold HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group home settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with patient observation techniques and monitoring vital signs.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities, including autism or developmental disabilities.
- Ability to provide compassionate care for seniors, including those requiring memory care or hospice support.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting as needed for client assistance.
- Understanding of care plans and the ability to follow specific instructions for patient care. - 이동 보조, 호이어 리프트(Hoyer lift) 등 보조기구 사용 지원
- 사회적 교류와 인지 자극을 돕는 의미 있는 활동 참여
- 제공한 돌봄 내용 기록 및 고객 상태 변화 시 의료진에게 보고
- HIPAA 규정 준수, 고객 개인정보 보호 철저
자격 요건 (Qualifications)
- 홈헬스, 요양원, 너싱홈, 그룹홈 등 관련 돌봄 경험자 우대
- 응급처치 및 CPR 자격증 소지자 우대
- 환자 관찰 및 활력징후 측정에 대한 이해
- 자폐 또는 발달장애인을 포함한 장애인 돌봄 경험
- 치매, 알츠하이머, 호스피스 케어가 필요한 시니어 돌봄 가능자
- 고객, 가족, 의료진과 원활히 소통할 수 있는 의사소통 능력
- 고객 보조를 위한 무거운 물건 들기 등 신체적 활동 가능
- 케어 플랜 이해 및 지침을 정확히 따를 수 있는 능력
