Position: Logistics Operations Coordinator

Location: Cerritos, CA

Contract Period: 1-year contract + extension or direct hire opportunity available

Work Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (subject to change)

Pay rate: Based on experience and qualifications

Benefits: Medical / Vision / Dental insurance, PTO (eligible after 90 days)

Language: Bilingual Korean preferred

Responsibilities

Manage import logistics operations, including global import and customs compliance

Develop and maintain operational plans aligned with customer requirements

Coordinate pricing for ocean, air, and trucking freight with carriers and 3PL partners

Maintain SOPs and work instructions to ensure operational best practices and compliance

Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal transportation regulations

Build and maintain relationships with carriers, vendors, and internal teams

Resolve freight-related issues and ensure smooth operations

Monitor KPIs and performance metrics to support customer satisfaction

Prepare reports and perform ad-hoc analysis as needed

Follow company policies, procedures, and professional standards

Perform additional duties as required

Qualifications

Minimum 3+ years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics (ocean/air preferred)

Experience with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) preferred

Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint

Highly organized with strong attention to detail and multitasking ability

Bilingual in Korean and English preferred

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work under pressure with a sense of urgency

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)

Bachelor’s degree preferred
