+23 year old Real Estate Foreclosure Trustee Company is seeking a Foreclosure Specialist for a full time position. We are the first Korean American owned Foreclosure Trustee Company in the United States operating in the greater Los Angeles area.
The Foreclosure Specialist will be responsible for Foreclosure operations; including investor and insurer timeline compliance, workflow processing, court appearances, process improvements, escalations contact and reporting to senior management. Ability to ensure compliance in operating procedures and working within guidelines in an effort to minimize cost and liability. Business Partnership opportunities will be available for long term qualified employees.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Perform management responsibilities in accordance with the company’s policies and applicable laws.
Responsible for maintaining policy and procedure for compliance with state and local laws.
Monitor, evaluate, and implement improvements to foreclosure processes.
Participate in daily meetings and needs and requirements of the Foreclosure duties.
Be present for a court appearance on behalf of GLS.
Attend settlement conferences, mediation, and depositions in person or telephonically on behalf of GLS.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Extensive knowledge of foreclosure processes in California preferred but not required. (We are willing to train candidate if candidate has a desire to learn the field)
Knowledge of Real Estate and mortgage servicing
Broad knowledge of the mortgage finance industry with a deep knowledge of servicing operations.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Strong Verbal Communication, And Writing Skills Required
Ability to multitask and respond effectively to superiors and subordinates required.
Ability to delegate responsibilities clearly.
Ability to work with policies, statutes, and procedures required.
Ability to problem solve under a variety of situations and circumstances required.
Ability to read and interpret mortgage terminology, documents, reports, and attorney correspondence required.
Ability to interact with Senior Management as an advisor on projects, and to act as the company’s principal spokesperson in area of expertise.
Ability to make decisions that have significant impact on the department’s credibility, operations, and services.
Ability to organize and prioritize work schedules
Education, Experience And/Or Licenses & Other Qualifications
Minimum of Jr High School and HS diploma required for this position (We will be doing background checks)
