Overview
Korea’s first hybrid airline, Air Premia has an immediate opening for Inside Sales Support in Los Angeles. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, service-oriented individual that can provide excellent customer service and solutions. This role has a strong focus on maximizing revenue by working with our sales team and key accounts in order to meet their needs while providing a professional and positive experience. Essential duties and responsibilities are listed below. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs as required.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide sales support to nationwide sales managers
- Assist with reservations and fares related issues
- Research fare and schedule information
- Handle travel agency inquiries from high-value, contracted accounts
- Provide service assistance, resolve problems, assist in closing sales
- Coordinate with other commercial team members to provide sales updates to headquarters
- Assist with sales performance reviews, including sales forecast and budgeting activity
- Provide education/ training to travel agency partners
- Assist sales managers and marketing team in developing sales campaigns for the region
- Participate in development, deployment and analysis of on-going commercial initiatives
- Participate in the presentation, negotiations, and transactions with specialty clients such as corporate accounts, themed travel prospects, groups, etc.
- Assist in the preparation of sales presentations and communication of sales campaigns
- Assist sales team in the analysis of market data and account performance
- Assist in activities such as trade shows, community events, etc.
- Perform other related duties as may be needed
Required qualifications and skills
- Minimum 2 years airline sales or travel agent experience
- High school diploma, GED, or international equivalent
- Proficient in reservations & ticketing on Amadeus GDS/Sabre system
- Knowledge of fare structure rule and conditions
- Expert knowledge in processing of tickets including manual, be it new issues, refunds or exchanges, including all calculations
- High level of client service orientation including problem solving and follow-up
- Exceptional telephone manner
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Korean
- Need to be a self-starter, show initiative and facilitate creative problem resolution
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Teams
- Applicants must have legal permit to work in the United States
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
