Duties
• Inputs claims
• Performs data entry accurately
• Answers calls directed to claims
department and make phone calls related to claims
• Call, communicate, and contact
various provider offices to send out and obtain medical records through mail, email, or fax.
• Request refunds and follows up with
physician or appropriate representative.
• Contacts billers or vendors to take
care of patient`s bill.
• Follow up with physicians or
appropriate representative for outstanding checks and inputs into log sheet.
• Manages portal access calls and
emails from physicians or physician offices

Experience
and Qualifications
• Experience in healthcare (preferred)
• Excellent and proven interpersonal,
verbal, and written communication skills
• Ability to keep schedule; customer
service; strong work ethics
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel/Word
• Ability to cope with conflict,
stress, and crisis situations
