Position Overview: CJ ENM America is currently seeking a
Chef de Partie to join the team. The Chef de Partie will focus on following the
creative direction of the Head Chef and collaborating on catering special events.
Responsibilities:
· - Ensure that high quality food
items are creatively prepared
· - Assist in all phases of planning,
ordering, inventory, food preparation, and plate presentation
· - Understand the importance of
proper food-handling techniques and hazards of improper food handling
· - Provide support to the Head Chef
in preparation of event catering for private events
· - Liaise with internal team members
and external vendors
· - Maintain standards of strict
confidentiality with respect to all matters
· - Perform all other duties and
projects as assigned
Experience & Skills:
· - Bachelor’s degree in Culinary
Arts, Food Services, Technology/ Management/ Hospitality/ Business
Administration or related field preferred
· - 1-2 years of relevant culinary
experience required if no relative degree
· - Bilingual in Korean/English is
required
· - Mastery of a wide variety of kitchen
positions and stations
· - Proficiency in Microsoft Office
and other computer skills
· - Excellent interpersonal, customer
service, and oral/written communication skills
