이웃케어클리닉이 직원을 모집합니다. 이웃케어클리닉(Kheir Clinic, 구 건강정보센터)은 1986년 설립된 비영리단체이자 커뮤니티클리닉입니다. LA한인타운 5곳에서 일반 진료, 치과와 검안과 진료, 정신건강 상담 및 치료 등 의료 서비스와 각종 의료혜택에 대한 정보 제공, 상담, 신청 지원 등의 사회복지 서비스, 시니어 서비스를 제공하고 있으며 계속 성장하고 있습니다.

이에 따라 이웃케어와 함께 할 직원을 찾고 있습니다. 현재 환자지원서비스/사회복지 부서(PRD)에서 한인 및 지역주민에게 건강, 의료, 보험 관련 정보와 상담을 제공하고 각 개인에 맞는 프로그램 가입을 돕는 의료 혜택 상담 및 신청 지원 담당 직원(Health Program Enrollment and Outreach Specialist)을 모집하고 있습니다(자세한 job description은 아래에 나와있습니다). 관심 있는 분은 영문 이력서와 간단한 자기소개서를 이메일(HR@lakheir.org)로 보내주세요.

Health Education, Enrollment & Outreach Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY

The Health Education Outreach Specialist will conduct brief health education/awareness and outreach contacts and encounters in the office and in the field. This person will educate potential clients about health coverage programs, enroll clients into the appropriate coverage programs, assist with applications, and provide follow-up to ensure enrollment, utilization, and retention. In addition, the Health Education Outreach Specialist will make presentations to clients on specific health-related programs and topics to increase patient enrollment in the office and in the community.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

•    Preferred experience in health education and outreach

•    College degree required.

•    Bilingual REQUIRED: English/Korean or English/Spanish

•    Flexible work schedule; may be required to work some nights and weekends

•    Computer proficient

•    Current valid California Driver’s License and Insurance Certificate and regular access to a reliable vehicle

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES

•    Provide outreach to explain Kheir’s Clinical Services.

•    Provide outreach to explain Medi-Cal, My Health LA, Covered California and other health care options available to parents, teens and the general public.

•    Assist members in the enrollment process for health insurance benefits and services that the organization provides.

•    Act as a resource of information on the phone or in person, for reliable information regarding the clinic’s programs.

•    Schedule appointments for patients, and follow-up on any missed appointments

•    Facilitate presentations on other health-related topics including, but not limited to, teen pregnancy preventions and STD’s, importance of prenatal and pediatric care, etc.

•    Maintain records, logs, signing sheets, and other documentation required to track for contract compliance and evaluate program performance.

•    Other duties as assigned.
